Quick Look: Quake II

Cool that they did this, I don't have an amazing graphics card, but it should handle this very well ( I just typed amazingraphics, that's going to be the name of my new graphics company when I have stupid money for R&D)

I thought there was a studio called Machinehead but it turns out I was thinking of Human Head. Y'know the Prey guys ... and .... The Quiet Man!?

Anyway, this a cool thing. The playable E3 builds and N64 version really make this an interesting package.

I'll be honest, I never played any of the Quake games as a kid. My PC gaming was limited to some Warcraft 2, LucasArts Star Wars stuff, Doom 1+2, and Duke Nukem 3D.

Anyway, I picked this up for PS5 and it's a blast to play. Glad I finally got around to it.

@rodeojones: At the bottom of the page, click Do Not Sell My Personal Information, enable Performance Cookies, save that preference, then reload the page. That usually fixes the video player not working for me.

I swear to god that the sound of the flies is the same exact one used in the first Sims game. Must be an openly available sound resource that was nabbed by a bunch of people.
