Who aside from crazy people and people that build huge MOCs sort by color before building?! As someone that has built almost all of the modular buildings, sort by bag number. On sets without bag numbers I keep the pieces in each of their bags. You’ll notice that when you follow the instructions to a tee there is almost a rhythm as to what is in what bag.
