I have a 770 and it can handle everything i throw at it, although mine is a EVGA so. It's a solid card.

A 770 isn't new, but its only 1 generation of cards old, I dunno if thats "pretty old". There were no 8xx cards for whatever reason.

@danryckert needs to do a rocky style video montage of him reading the strategy guide and practicing hours on end for Mario party 5 with the intention to prove that it is skill based, could be amazing if done right.

Well, gameshark did actually change the variables in the code. thats why games ran more unstable and crashed more when using it.

That's actually the model of C64 I grew up with. If memory serves the SID chip was changed, meaning that some games can sound quite different to what they're supposed to (although I never knew that as a kid, obviously not having access to an earlier model to compare).

Man. Listening to that C-64 keyboard brought back the memories! I never had one but I had an Atari 800 and still have my Amiga 3000, love those style of keyboard. Funny to see the 770 downplayed, I have a 670 in my PC and Witchar 3 looks good to me.

... F'real, though, I love the "literal garbage" items. It tickles me endlessly that their office has become an impromptu dumping ground for viewers the world over, and that they "gladly" take even the most pointless of things. If I actually did send my aftershave, I bet I'd be seeing it sitting on a desk corner for months to come.

770 is not old. It is only last gen. 900 series is far superiour of course, but the 770 is still a fantastic card, especially if you only run 1080p. I upgraded from 2x770 SLI to 2x970 SLI only because of more VRAM and power usage. More VRAM is a good thing when gaming 4K.

This is so true. I appreciate the communities dedication to spend so much money to send shit to the Giant Bomb office but we are treading a very fine line between "kinda funny because it's so random" and just "crap I cleaned out from that box at the back of my storage unit that I haven't opened in 15 years".
