Hearing about the Diablo IV update keeping higher level players from helping lower level ones get boosted led to the same exact thought that Grubb had "why stop that?". There are some games/game companies out there that just won't release their grip and demand things be played a certain way. I know there aren't many sports fans here, but Madden used to have some similar issues. You couldn't make an Offensive lineman the fastest guy on the field, for example. The question was always "Why?", "what's it actually hurting?". Sometimes these companies get it (The Sims allowing you to edit lifespans within the options, for example), but it's just shocking how adversely reactive the early steps can be by people who are supposed to have a finger on the pulse.
