For the first time ever, I ended up going for an AMD card. They're pricey as well but the recent price drops make them a bit more reasonable. The nvidia pricing is just insane. Between the insane prices and shoddy ports, I fear we're headed towards another PC gaming dark age :(

@big_denim: Its because of this that I went with a AMD pre-built gaming PC for the first time, after years of building my own gaming PC mainly using Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs. So far, I haven't regretted it. It's best now to go where the price makes sense, rather than being a brand loyalist. A lot of so-called PC influencers are now rocking AMD for the same reasons.
