I know they likely don't read the comments, and for good reason. In the off chance that one of them checks in though, please note for Doom Eternal: you don't HAVE to take out a heavy's weak points! Some it makes life much easier, but for ones like the Mancubus and the Revenant, it is far easier to just take them out without bothering if you need to. Especially the Revenant. They go down pretty easily and wasting time trying to hit their rocket launchers isn't worth it like 90% of the time. Especially once you get the Super Shotgun.

I realize the game kind of makes you believe you have to hit them, but once you stop worrying so much about that, it increases both enjoyment and survivability. Or at least it did for me.

Someone tell Vinny it's crazy to buy physical copies of individual Iron Man comics. I know they can't admit to torrenting so the legal alternative marvel set up is marvel unlimited https://www.marvel.com/comics/unlimited if you insist on physical there's these things called trades.

They do make Switch cartridges big enough, 2K is just deciding to be shitty when they only out 8gigs of a game on the cart.

UPS is the absolute trash tier of delivery, avoid them if possible. They are the only postal service who has negative stories from everyone I know including some actual horrible crime. I hope they go out of business. That they arent always avoidable is probably one of the only things keeping them afloat.

Love the 4-way split screen. The Bombcast could take a note from this style in seeing the whole crew instead of giant faces and awkward moments when no one is talking but the camera remains on their face.

HL: Alyx is amazing, easily the most immersive game ever made. It works great on WMR as well and for a quarter of the price. It’s a must play game. Playing it on a normal screen would tarnish the experience. You may think you want that but you don’t. While playing HL: Alyx and Boneworks it has become clear to me that the days of playing on a normal screen are numbered. VR is becoming too good for people to ignore.

When I first heard of HL: Alyx I kind of felt like Jeff but then I realised that Half-Life's story is pretty bland except for the emotional hooks and "dynamic" in-game cutscenes.

I'm happy someone gets to experience the Half-Life universe for the first time who might not otherwise see it but I don't care about VR and it's probably too little too late after 13 years for me. It's kind of like the Skywalker saga in that it doesn't even matter if it's good or bad because it's been so long that the magic is kinda lost now unless you go for a completely different set of characters. I still want to know what happened to Bill from Left 4 Dead though.

I also didn't know Abby was a spaceship (Lego) nerd (said with the utmost respect as a fellow one) but I've been playing a lot of Surviving Mars lately with all the DLC and I think she might like the combined sci-fi and Sims-like mechanics (getting Marsborn babies can be tough) in it.

Hi all.

Just wanted to say I bought a Switch Lite (gorgeous turquoise blue) and Animal Crossing for my wife, as her birthday is coming up. Given the current global situation, I decided to give it to her early,, she loves it. My family has owned a Switch from launch. I have three kids who all play, now she has her own island and is a member of theirs everyone is happy (especially Nintendo).

Honestly this would only be the case with two systems, Four players, three of which are between ten and twelve years of age, sharing one island? nah, not gonna happen. Only reason I don't mind is the second Switch made someone very happy during hard times and we sort of needed a second,

Whats funny is I can't be the only one who did this, for one reason or another. So many people probably bought second systems for this game. I'd love to know the numbers.. They knew, they had to have known. Love these scrappy Nintendo girls & boys.

I felt similarly to Jeff about Half Life: Alyx because Half Life 2 is probably my favorite/most played game of all time. Since i've been waiting 13 years for any sort of followup to the cliffhanger, I decided to looked up the ending to Alyx to see if their are any hints of where the story is headed and...now I have no interest at all in seeing any resolution to that story, so mission accomplished I supposed.

Lol, on the last episode didn't Jeff say he wasn't going to play Animal Crossing? Maybe I mixed him up with someone else, but otherwise kind of funny to see him go from that to casually 'so yeah I picked up Animal Crossing'. Honestly seems like a good pick up for him to play with his kid, so I think it was smart for him to change his mind.

@vinny Since the quarantine I've really taken to Tabletop Simulator. Not everything is licensed, but almost anything you can think of is on the workshop. Currently running a Pandemic Legacy season that I can save progress on, and getting back into Warhammer 40k.
