Missed not having Vinny around, but nice hearing Abby add to the conversation while Alex was blazin'.

I don't know if the chat brought it up, but the rapper Prodigy in this game (who formed Mobb Deep with Havoc, also in the game) died a few years ago, in addition to the nutty white guy from the band Prodigy.

David Banner is a pretty good producer all things considered, but he did have a career behind the mic also. @alex probably heard David Banner's "Like A Pimp" (featuring one Lil' Flip) in the critically-acclaimed film "2 Fast 2 Furious". He just forgot... about that entire film, honestly. Understandable.

I thought Busta Rhymes was the epitome of cool at one point which tells you how lame I was.

Agreed. Got a shock last episode when Alex and Ice T actually fought MOBB DEEP. Who BTW should have been the final fight in that tournament anyway! Also why no MOBB DEEP on the sound track?!?

David Banner has also acted in a few movies, including the out-there Samuel L. Jackson movie Black Snake Moan. That came out after this game had come out, and I remembered his name and kind of recognized his face.

You should see Abby’s Dolly Parton full back tattoo. It sure is something.

Really enjoying this Def Jam playthrough! I have very fond memories playing this game back in the OG Xbox days, and I've kept that giant box around for years largely to play this and KoTOR. I've never written in to either the bomb or beast cast, but was recently thinking about sending in a question regarding this game - then Alex started playing and I fucking love it, cheers ya'll!

Man I really enjoy this series. Eve. If it's just an excuse to hear the beasters talk. Some great conversation and the pun game is strong. Definitely missed Vinny though.

Worth noting for the Incredible Hulk tv show, Banner's full name was David Bruce Banner. And (if IMDB is correct), the Bruce naming thing for the show is an urban legend.

Hasn't been brought up on stream, but in the comments. And considering how close this came out to that movie, that has been said to be the case.
