I was finally convinced to look up Jacob the Jeweler. I remember reading something about his legal troubles a couple years after I played the game. The full story:

In June 2006, Arabo was arrested on charges of money laundering and conspiracy in connection with the Detroit-based Black Mafia Family, as well as for not declaring large cash purchases to the IRS. In October 2007, after admitting to lying to investigators, Arabo and his attorney, Ben Brafman, entered a plea in which the more serious charges of money-laundering were dropped. In June 2008, Arabo was sentenced to two and a half years in prison, fined $50,000, and ordered to forfeit $2 million to the U.S. government. Arabo was released from jail in April 2010.

I echo Vinny on the Repair Shop, in the UK it's usually on just after we sit down for lunch, so we usually miss the first quarter of the program which is where most of the restoring happens, bad format.

Baby Chris was a real person. Chris Lighty (RIP) co-founded Violator Records (Hence his "you just got Violated" catchphrase) and management. Also, RIP Prodigy (Mobb Deep).

Mahardy accidentally flexing about his luxurious thick hair is a personal highlight of this ep.

The best part of this video was the whole "Baby Chris' very specific paranoia" bit. I also thought he was a real rapper but could not find him on Wikipedia and I didn't look further.

This playthrough continues to be wonderfully hilarious and amazing. The banter and commentary is superb. For a game that I would never okay though myself, you guys really make it entertaining. Look forward to more

Just want to say this playthrough has been my go to content for the gym the past few weeks and Alex is killin it. I wouldn’t object to more games like this at all, it’s very fun to watch :)

@grephat_isch: Let's be honest, aside from Alex's very small amount of rap knowledge, this series is about as clueless as it can be. Fun to watch, but full of cringey moments. Jeff and Alex would be the ideal combo for this if you want the discussion to be anywhere close to knowledgeable.

I was literally about to comment, 'that's what Busta gets for 'Halloween Resurrection'!' before Alex brought it up!

On the topics of fighting, Busta Rhymes and the 'Halloween' franchise, I've always found it funny that 'Resurrection''s most infamous scene near the end - Busta's Kung-Fu showdown against Michael - actually gets set up beforehand, with Busta's character appreciating some Kung-Fu movies in his hotel room. The sincerity of that gesture towards an internal logic for the film adds to the hilarity of it all for me.

Loved the Baby Chris bits.
