Oh man, I was so reluctant to watch Cruella when it came out, but went anyways. And I must say it was the biggest surprise of the last 10 years for Disney movies. It is a great movie, story is completely different from the old (and crappy) cartoons. Its basically a Hitman the movie with her hiding in plain sight sabotaging the evil lady (yes she is a good guy in this movie). Emma Stone as Cruella is excellent. Music throughout the movie is banging hard (Stones and the like). Highly recommend it.

As far as dalmations killing people, the evil lady has them as pets, and she commands with a whistle to attack. She kills Cruella's mom (not going to reveal the plot twists) by having the Dalmatians push her off the cliff. The cliff makes a comback later in the movie.
