    I thought it was 50 but I just got to level 51 so I'm confused. what's the real level cap?

    I just checked GameFAQ's and it seems that others have gone past 50 too, and also don't know what the cap is. 
     
    Some speculate that it might be useful for DLC.

    Yeah me too but I took it out again today and leveled to 51.
