Saints Row: The Third Crazy E3 Gameplay
DTDs on pedestrians, this is the future of open world
Definitely getting this, looks like plain old fun!
I really hope that I can grab a helicopter, hook up and carry that cat car thing, put it on top of some random skyscraper, then get in and launch myself to oblivion. Even if for some strange reason I wasn't already planning on getting this, that video would've sealed the deal for sure.
Oh yeah, I never blinked when I first watched this. So much ball busting! Also the 'drop kick through windshield' in full effect. This game is definitely looking to deliver on everything I want it to be. I kinda got the feeling Chris Watters was forcing a lot of his chuckles, but otherwise a sweet interview just for a better and more clear perspective on SR: The Thirds gameplay.

I assume he was referring to Red Faction: Armageddon, which is quite a disappointment. That's being done by a different development team though, and they've actually said themselves that they thought what those guys were doing with RF was a mistake.
This game looks downright CRAZY. Has the Giant Bomb crew covered this game in a video or talked about it on one of the E3 podcasts yet?

Whoa where did they say this? I believe you, this is just something I would be interested in reading up on.
@greennoodles: One of the developers mentioned it over on the SomethingAwful forums. Strictly of the record, I'm sure, but it's not exactly hard to believe. After Guerilla was really popular for being an openworld destruction game, anyone could see they took Armageddon in completely the wrong direction.
Looks super over the top and fucking crazy, cant wait! I've never played a Saints Row game so this will be a new experience for me.
This is pretty much the same video as the OP posted, but without the interview element. My two worries with this game is that they totally eliminate a sense of progression by giving the player all of the cool stuff right from the beginning and that they focus too much on the co-op aspect, seeing as how they removed basic competitive multiplayer.
