I totally just heard a Friday Night Lights reference in SR2. Was walking down the street and someone definitely said "I think they should give the new kid Sarrison a shot at quarterback".

Wondering if anyone else has heard any FNL references. I'm a big fan of the show.

Are you serious!? ...I love that show and haven't heard any references so far. I wish the episodes weren't DTV now...though I haven't checked if they have them online too, hmmmm.

Can't say that I have.  I've mostly heard references to the first Saints Row and events completed in your current game.  There are a few funny lines of random dialogue, like a man saying his wife is going to kill him in his sleep (he was losing money in the casino).

I havent watched the show before so I would be oblivious to any reference in the game. I have seen some trailers running on my local pay TV and it seems like it could be alright show. Is it related to the Billy Bob movie of the same name at all? Or is it just a matter of it having the same backdrop of football?

I had rented it about a week ago.  I just bought the mega condo( can't remember if that was the exact name) it was a saints hideout.  As I was entering it I heard    Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose!  I remember that this was on the first episodes of the first season, and then you pretty much nevr here it again on FNL.

I really liked the movie, but I have yet to see the show.  Is it really worth checking out?  I mean, here's what I like and you might be able to tell me if it's up my alley:

Dead Like Me (best show ever), Smallville, Prison Break...

    That's about it.

*EDIT*  Oh, and Rome.  That show was the shit!!!
