    The Red Star makes its debut in Super Mario Galaxy, this star allows Mario to transform and hone the abilities of Flying Mario. This form is very reminiscent of the Wing Cap ability seen in Super Mario 64, except the player has a considerable amount of control. Mario can also attract nearby coins or star bits by spinning or shaking the Wii remote.
