Games I've finished 2022

List items

  • They shook up the formula a bit on this one with the mission structure. I also really want a eurobeat vision of the full power Gridman theme.

  • I'd say I feel kinda bad about buying the dlc to level up my demons, but I don't. I mean, who wants to grind legitimately for that Shiva fight? Using essences to put abilities on demons was a welcome addition too.

  • I couldn't play Elden Ring at work, so I finally got around to playing through this. Definitely felt like a combination of Celceta and VII. Plus, it wasn't broken at all by the time I played it.

  • They could call it turtle strategy since finding a defensible position and picking off the enemies as they come to you works every time.

  • As it turns out, open world Dark Souls works out well. Rot breath gets you pretty far.

  • Picked it up on GOG for 10 bucks. Pretty fun.

  • Another game that wasn't as broken by the time I got around to playing it. Still not as entertaining as the original though.

  • Fun arcade throwback and one I might actually get my girlfriend to play with me.

  • I'M REALLY FEELING IT! It also made me realize that I remember exactly nothing about Xenoblade 2 and I played like 120 hours of that shit.

  • How many more times do I have to play that Honeybee Inn dance qte?

Went back and finished it and the intermission on hard. That Weiss fight made a lot more sense once I used the parry materia on Tifa. I'm also not sure how to feel about Zack being alive in the remake universe.

  • Pretty fun, but man, that automap is out of control.

  • It was a nice change of pace with all the rpg's I've been playing lately. Swinging around town felt great. Fuck those Taskmaster drone challenges though.

  • Seemed like the best use of this Steam deck. You know, playing sega on the toilet. Harder than I remembered, honestly. Seemed like the enemies went for the main character and had no problem double tapping him. Still one of my favorites from my childhood though.

  • Keeping the Shining Force train running. Kind of annoying having to delete your save to move to the next game though.

  • Man, that defense really takes a hit if you promote right at 20.

  • Pretty fun, getting it for free from games with Prime was an added bonus. I think I might actually buy the next one though!

  • I think I played the last level over about 5 times because my old man reflexes kept blowing the timed platforming section at the end.
