World at War
This Machine first appeared in Der Riese, or Zombie Factory, in the Call of Duty: World at War game mode, Nazi Zombies. To use this machine players had to link up three teleporters scattered around the map one at a time. Once the machine was activated players could upgrade their weapons for a price of 5000 points. A steep price, but not without rewards. Each upgraded gun has special abilities or strengths. One noticeable example is that of the Colt .45 [The players starting weapon], when upgraded it launches grenades at a high rate of fire instead of the original .45 caliber rounds. Many other guns receive upgrades as well.

Black Ops
The Pack-A-Punch machine also appears on the maps Kino Der Toten and Five in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies game mode. Like in World at War, this machine upgrades your weapon for the cost of 5000 points. In Kino Der Toten, this power up is available once the power is turned on and the teleporter is linked up. On Five, this can be accessed through a teleporter once the DEFCON level reaches 5.
