DataNational Pokedex No. - #146 Types - Fire, Flying Found In: Kanto, Johto, Orre, Sinnoh NotesMoltres is one of the three legendary bird Pokemon found in Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow (the other two being Articuno and Zapdos). Moltres is a fire type Pokemon and is found at level 50 on Victory Road just before the Elite 4. As is with most legendary Pokemon, they are very difficult to catch, added with the fact that it is in Victory road, where it is highly likely that the trainer's pokemon are tired, making it further difficult. In Heartgold and Soulsilver, Moltres has relocated to Mount Silver.In Pokemon Gold,Silver and Crystal, the player can only obtain Moltres from a trade from the previous generation of games. In FireRed & LeafGreen, Moltres has been moved to Mt. Ember on One Island in the Sevii Isles. in its original place in Victory road lies a Burn heal item. Moltres is also Obtainable in Pokemon XD and Pokemon Platinum, where it is a shadow pokemon and a roaming legendary respectively.
