Which do you prefer?
 
Personally, I can't stand ricochet. There is always the one asshole teammate who runs to where you threw your semtex/frag, runs to the barrel you shot, stands in front of your claymore, or does a similar move resulting in your demise. At least the teamkillers in normal hardcore would be punished and eventually killed themselves, but in ricochet it just gives you the message "Friendly fire will not be tolerated!" and you have to wait till next round to respawn.

ricochet is fine. but imo it should be disabled for killstreaks. i'm terrified when i'm dropping harriers or stealths in hardcore ricochet modes and that's just stupid.
