    The PM (Pistolyet Makarova /  Пистолет Макарова) is a Soviet made double-action pistol, first designed after the 'Great Patriotic War'; better known as World War II. The pistol fired the 9x18mm Makarov round, which was designed specifically for the pistol. The Makarov was intended to replace the Tokarev TT, as well as the revolvers used at the time, such as the Nagant M1895.
