I didn't mean to but after completing the divisive The Evil Within, I'm now going further down this rabbit hole and jumping into the even more polarizing Lightning Returns: FF13.

I started last night and ended my session after the first day. It was kinda of a disaster as I only completed one quest. It seems to be very different from 13 & 13-2 and most of the time was spent getting introduced to wtf is going on and all the mechanics of the game. Atm, I've kinda resigned myself to the fact that my first run might purely be an educational one as I've come away pretty overwhelming by trying to figure out how the game ticks while under pressure by the time limit.

So I would greatly appreciate it if you could give some tips or point me in the right direction and relieve some of the stress I'm feeling. Thanks!

Current thoughts about the game: God's kinda of a dick. I've made myself now play 3 games w/ f-ing Hope, what is wrong with me? Yo that Lightning, she can climb ladders real good.
