    * means that the song will be on the DS version of the game.

A couple other things of note:

    • There's a $10 export fee to use LEGO RB songs in RB2.  HOWEVER, there's a code in the manual to unlock the export feature.  So, unlike RB1, you can't borrow your friend's disc and copy all of the songs for $10.  Boo!
    • DLC that is determined to be family-friendly will import into Lego RB.  Lego RB will have its own music store that shows only those songs that can be used in the game.
    • You can't fail out of a song, only lose the points that you've earned.  You can then earn them back by hitting recovery phrases.

It's awesome that they have Jimi Hendrix in the game, as well as the Zutons.  All and all, the setlist isn't half-bad.  However, I can't see myself getting the game for awhile, as I don't really want to pay $60 for those songs, plus another $10 to export them.  I was hoping to get this game for my nephews and just export the songs from their disc.  I was also hoping that we'd see an option to export from RB2 to Lego RB, but that's obviously not happening.  Looks like RB2 is still the "core game" for the franchise for awhile.  Oh well.

It does? I haven't looked through the GH5 one, but this doesn't look too interesting. Perhaps not my taste of music.

That set list is pretty good, especially with an export to Rock Band 2 (which I notice is pricier now).

Wait, how did they get Hendrix for this?  I thought his estate had an exclusivity deal with Activision.

And what do the asterisks mean?

Yeah, kind of disappointed you can't import into it. The set list looks like fun.

Well, LEGO Rock Band is only $50 for Wii, 360 and PS3, so it's $60 total. The price of a normal game, so it's not THAT bad.

However, A-Punk, Song 2, Final Countdown, Ghostbusters- Stop right there, those songs alone are worth $60 to play. I'm getting this day 1.

That's actually a pretty decent soundtrack. Playing Rock Band is usually a family thing for me, and my family loves  themselves some LEGOs. That, and Ghostbusters + The Final Countdown need to be played.

DAMN, I didn't know until I read this post that I actually have to buy the game to get the import code...the only reason I was even considering renting the game was to export the songs.

Very tough choice now, because there's a few songs that I REALLY want to play, especially Dig by Incubus!

So far, I've actually enjoyed these tracks more than the basic songs in either of the core Rock Band games. Harmonix did a really good job in picking fun and fresh songs in a cohesive combination, including some choices which I think are a bit risky (I'm absolutely loving Dig by Incubus so far).
