Remember when THQ released the 'good but flawed' adventure game Darksiders? I passed on it until THQ ran a promotion that would give you a free copy of Red Faction: Guerilla another 'good but flawed' title. While the prospect of buying 1 title for $60 made me squeamish getting 2 for $60 (or actually $40 since I found it on sale) was something that got me excited.
So now with Red Faction: Armaggedon coming out this year bundle Homefront with it. If THQ really believes in this franchise that is going to be the best way to overcome those less than stellar review scores.

Okay I think I need to clarify, Yes I like Red Faction: Guerilla (I would even say I loved it.) But there had to be a reason THQ decided to 'bundle' it with Darksiders. That might be that it didn't light up the sales charts like they wanted or they just needed a way to convince more people to buy Darksiders.
@Cirdain: A 60% score doesn't scream 'go buy me' (unless I have a history with the brand and know I'll like it anyway)
@JTMosh: I feel the only 'flaw' in Red Faction: Guerrilla was how the missions were assigned by the end of the game I felt like I spent most of my time driving somewhere to do something really cool not just doing something really cool.

There was nothing flawed about Red Faction:Guerilla it was a great game. I don't think there is any reason to bundle the new RF with Homefront since Homefront will sell much better than RF. The reason Guerilla was given away for free after its release was that it didn't sell well and it cost so much to develop that a sequel would needed to be made. I do not think they will bundle it but who knows.
