So I have played Halo multiplayer in the past but I'd say Halo 5 is the first Halo game I've gotten deep into the multiplayer, especially with 343's awesome content support but I'm a little confused about forge.

You see I get what forge is but how does it implement into the multiplayer as an whole? Will 343 vet community made maps than possibly add them to playlist or are the forge maps only playable through joining friends maps? I'm a little confused about that. The Halo community make it sound like forge is a massive thing but what's the point if it can't be played by the Halo community.

Anyhow, I'd appreciate how forge maps work, thank you.

In 3 and Reach, there were a lot of Forge maps added to the multiplayer playlists. I always assumed that they were made by the community. If I remember rightly, there was a way of searching through forge made maps and gametypes, so you could play them in custom games as well, but they should definitely be integrated into the matchmaking as well eventually.

That's awesome to hear, like I said I've loved the forge maps added already for btb and I'm super excited to see what creators crewter . I was reading a forum post by a creator who said it's best that 343 vet the community maps because it takes a lot of time and effort to make a good halo map and there's a lot of garbage out there, so it makes sense for them to do that. Still, I doubt I'll mess with it but excited to see what's created.
