    Since original xbox games can't be played online anymore should they release the Halo 2 maps for Halo 3 for free?

    Well the Halo 2 maps wouldn't be compatible with Halo 3. 
    And even if they did decide to transfer them all over it would require work, design, programming, and ect. to convert them. 
    Which requires man-hours and work, which needs to be paid for, so it wouldn't be free either.
