Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is a compilation of some of the most popular songs from previous titles. This time, all songs are master recordings, and there is full band support for each track.
Unknowing customer: "Hey look I can get all the best songs from Guitar Hero on one disc!" Unknowing customer: "Oh crap, it's just the first game! What the crap, it says "Greatest Hits"!
I hated World Tour, I don't like where the series has gone, but DAMN(!) the first game had great songs, and so did the second one. The third one was okay....I guess. So I'm kinda okay about this game.

Plus all the songs from the first game will now have drum and vocal tracks.
Man looking at that, just makes me think the series has come a long way in terms of flash and style and the production values. All of those songs were covers I think.
