Why do users in Ustream chat suck?

 I always thought we had the best community.  Apparently not when things are streamed live.  Fanboys and idiots galore.

Because it's live! That and this community really loves the GiantBomb staff so they want their attention...and when I say love....I mean love..in a creepy way.

If it was just this community on the live stream, I honestly think it would be okay.  Thing is, there are tons of outsiders that comment on GB's live streams and they are mostly the ones that make the chat go to hell.

It is the internet.

You post something stupid in chat, most people won't see it a few seconds later.  You post something stupid in forums...  well it lasts a bit longer.
 
I think some people were just acting stupid on purpose, not really trying to be jerks.

I just dont pay that much attention to the chat anymore...people yelling random spoilers annoys me to much

Hey, it's a chatroom. There's not much you can expect. 

The only reason people seem less retarded in the forums is because they don't have as much pressure to spew their garbage. With slightly more time to think through what they're posting, a small degree of eloquence is achievable.

Well when they ask for questions I'm sure they want REAL questions about the game.  Not stupid questions which you know will not be asked live.

Because most of the people on the chat are the ones who post like once every month, and reason why they do because they're usually trollorific.

I dunno, I don't mind the commenters on the commute videos. Now the TNT and other gaming livestreams are another story entirely.

I just thought it was funny how we talk about how good of a community we are then do shit like that when they can see what we have to say to them...LIVE

Come on mate it's a ustream chat, when did that ever become a civilized place to chat with 400+ other people.. thank god for slow mode or it would be a lot worse. The best you can do is try a few questions and if they don't stick go back to the show, where you should be in the first place. 
I know it's a shame but what can you do.. silly interwebs.

I don't mind the madness to much on live streams, that kinda stuff is fun most of the time until spammers start showing up.

Because the threat of getting banned or getting a bad reputation among users on GiantBomb is gone when you use a log-in for a different site.
