Gift code via Xbox Messages - Did anyone else get one?

Hi there,

just curious if I anyone has experienced something like this before. Via Xbox Messages a 10€ gift code was sent to my account, the message thanks me for being a loyal customer (not those exact words, but along those lines) and promotes the "Critically Acclaimed" sale. The message looks legit and all. I'm just confused, because... well... it's generous, and anything generous by a big company like Microsoft confuses me.

Ya I got one as well a couple of days ago. $10 code for the Critically Acclaimed sale.

Got one too and used it to buy the apex pass. MS gives out a bunch of stuff through their XBL messages. Just this last week or so I got that $5 code, a code for the monkey business devil breaker in dmcv for playing the demo even though I don't own the game and I got the apex founders pack for watching apex hypezone on Mixer.
