I know most of us have migrated from GS, most will keep their GS accounts, some will not. I know that the creator/founder is ex GS staff... but I hope this place becomes its own home for the bombers and doesn't just mimick GS - like GS 2.0 or something. Some old habits are hard to break, but I'd like GB to be a community without the stigma and that Gamespot pushed on us. Let their hands stay dirty and let them keep their monies in their pocket. That place went to hell last year and I will NEVER look back.
Besides....
THIS... IS... GIANT BOMB!
GB, not GS ^.^
The only thing that will be like GS will be the good writing that used to be on GS but is now on GB.
"Meh. I'll stay in Gamespot for the community"
Or bring them over? Since many of them left for here, the best choice would be to reel people in, I suppose. This site is AMAZING and its been out a week. Seriously...
No doubt though, GameSpot was great... But they totally killed themselves with the false reviews/marketing BS. Even minus the Jeff scandal. They wouldn't even give him a copy of the game, like all other developers do, then when he gave it a bad review, which was all true and accurate, they accused it of being because he didn't get a copy. :X
BS.
"Yup. Still wish this site had a different name and logo. Honest.yeah, I think they could've done better.
"
as for the website comparisons, I think they're different enough that you can still travel both. I like the message boards here better, and the blogs and reviews are good, but they operate on such a small scale that I'd miss a lot if I didn't visit other videogame websites.

Same here. Logo could be more gaming oriented, as well. A site doesn't have to have the word 'game' in it to have to be noticeably a gaming site.
"Yeah it's refreshing. Like moving to a new city - fresh start, new people, better school system... etc.hell ya
