well i made a purchase to them at METABOLI SA or whatever and recieved the paypal email with the receipt, however i have recieved now download code or anything like that, and it just took me to a login page for me on enter my details- which i did, which took me back to the purchase page with it in my shopping cart waiting for me to order it- but i already did :\ -any ideas?

1. Can I just "get" the serial number? How does that work?
2. Can I buy from the U.S?

I'm not sure what's going on.  I'm not getting any purchase confirmation e-mails from THQ, so I don't think the payment has been processed.  I've tried reloading the page and re-purchasing a few times now, and I keep getting the same error.   Maybe the European site doesn't like Canadians or my VISA or something?  Has anyone else encountered this error and overcome it?  I really want to take advantage of this deal and it would suck if I'm ultimately not able to... "

yeah i got payment refused too :X.

I got payment refused but then checked my emails and it had cleared - was sent a CD key and I just used that on steam to complete it, am downloading now. 
  
Maybe it's a server overload with so many people trying to get it at once? Just wait a bit and you'll probs get a delayed email soon enough

Ok, just checked my e-mail, it turns out that every time I attempted to buy the game and got the "Temporary Failure" notice, the purchase apparently went though, because now I have three separate e-mail confirmations of purchase.  It's weird though, only the first one has an actual CD key even though each purchase confirmation has a unique order number...   
 
What sucks even more is that the order which contains the CD key shows that I paid 5.00 GBP instead of 3.75 GBP, while the other two show that I paid 3.75 GBP.  Now it looks like I have to deal with THQ customer service to hopefully cancel my last two "orders."  BUT, I can't even create or log into a THQ E-Shop account... ARGH!!!!

Just use the CD key they send you on steam.

Fuck it, I'm gonna take the plunge. Wish me luck. More at 11.

Edit 2: I received the email with the serial numbers, so I suggest DON'T PANIC IF YOU SEE THE ERROR PAGE, check your email first.

I got a payment refused error when using my debit card. Paypal went right through and got my email right after that was approved. Downloading in Steam now. Thanks for the deal. :)

Thanks dude.  I just fired off an e-mail to Customer Service, and I'm hoping they can help me deal with this.  If not, I'll have to turn to VISA and see if they can get my back on this one.  Until this is resolved, I'm going to hold off on using my CD key just in case.  I really want to play this game though, so hopefully everythiing gets dealt with soon.

It's about FIVE dollars. That's crazy% off! I didn't love the demo, but I can't pass this off and not it another chance.

Bah. Mine finally went through - after having the same problems as others have stated, but it seems to have charged me £5 instead of the cheaper price. I know that's still very cheap, but I was only really buying it because I thought I was getting it even cheaper.

I just got it, and I got the Temporary Failure screen but got conformation mail within 2 sec. Gotta say thanx for the deal!

FUCK!! I accidentally bought 2 copies. When it said Temporary failure, I decided to go through the process again. Then I saw I had 2 purchase confirmations in my email and 2 charges on my debit card. GAH!!! There's a Download limit per copy though (6 times). So I guess I get 12? Still a good deal though.

Don't try this.  Their site is fucked and I've been charged several times without receiving a code.  Guess that'll teach me to use something other than Steam.
