I think if the Giant bomb crew made a Video Bombcast along with the current Bombcast it would probably guarantee the takeover of the internet. We could actually see the beverages that are tasted, which for so long my imagination had to draw a picture for. So what are some other ideas that could be in an episode of the GiantVideoBombcast or is this a bad idea?
Video Bombcast?
they could just continue what they are doing with "how to build a bomb" and just talk alot of random stuff plus now it could have news on site updates and stuff.
All it needs is a name change since the bomb is built and is lovely
But the main question for them would be what could they do on video that couldnt be dont just on the bombcast?
Still Bombing Series
That'd be cool...whatever. Im happy with the bombcast. These guys have there own lives, im sure they don't care to film everything they do

"also they NEED Luchadeer on camera
I just dont think having a deers head "appear" on a audio podcast would have the same effect"
The camera does not do Luchadeer much Justice. You need to see Luchadeer LIVE and in person to absorb his "badass" rays!
I wouldn't want to watch them talk for over an hour. Especially since I like doing other things while listening to the Bombcast.
Nah. I don't want to watch guys sit around and talk about games. I'd much rather listen to them.
I would like the How To Build a Bomb series to continue until the Bomb is built. After that I would like some sporadic behind the scenes video content.
I like it the way it is. Maybe supply a link to the drink or post a picture of it or something, though?
As bitchin' as Ryan's moustache is, I don't want to stare at it for almost two hours. Though I would like to see roundtable reviews of games that at least two of the guys played, or maybe even reviews where one staff member who hasn't played the game is asking the reviewer questions about it. I think it would fit the tone of the website better than the single-man, talking-at-the-camera reviews.
Video reviews every so often are a given, but I would like to see some kind of weekly video feature. Just get the whole crew shitfaced and lock them in a room with the big release, or crappiest release, of the week, then let the cameras roll. Don't even think about editing it, I want to see their sanity slowly break down from sitting through the same cutscene for the tenth time because Brad keeps missing a jump. It could almost be like Gamecenter CX or Broken Pixels if the game was hard/broken enough.
Ok, I'll admit. I just want to see Jeff get wasted and yell at everybody once a week. Whatever context I can get that in is acceptable.
"I agree with Kratos (not something I'd ever thought I'd have to type).Hahah. Agreed.
GB needs some sort of weekly show, where they sit and play games. As somebody in another thread said, call it Bomb The Spot.
"
I would love to see a video Bombcast. Once in awhile would be fine.
yeah Energy drinks in video would be better you could see the can and maybe the color, but mostly energy drinks have a yellowish color
Yes, it would be pretty neat to sit and watch something strictly meant for an audio format. It's a podcast, and for the most part, it should probably stay that way.
My one request would be to tripod the camera, and record the first 15 minutes of each Bombcast. Or however long it takes to get past the drinks. The one time they did it, it was totally priceless watching their expressions whilst the drinks were consumed.
Video drink testing for the win!
They don't need it to be a video cast. I have listened to two podcasts and they are really good. Not perfect but they are good for a beginning site.

First off, they are amazing. And also these guys arent noobs. Theyve been at it for a while. This is just thier new site...not thier first.
But back to on topic. I though I was crazy for wanting this! I sent them a email asking if they will ever have them...maybe this topic will be discussed on todays podcast.
It would be awesome
A video of them podcasting? Eh, no thanks. Maybe some special features as we've been seeing with Building a Bomb and their E3 coverage? Dude, totally. That's how you really connect to the people.
Eh, they dont really need to film a podcast. >_>
Something On The Spot-esque for the future would be awesome.
"Still Bombing Series
" Agreed ! !

i think it would be cool, but i doubt they would think it worth all of the extra bandwidth and time to make just to see them talk.
i am happy with the podcast as is...no big deal if you can see them or not..the burnout paradise crew do the video podcast thing..can be glitchy at times..have seen a few others..no need to watch some people talking..just good enough to listen too..and if they show anything interesting they just do how to buld a bomb at any rate anyway
It would be cool, but would you really wanna take away their luxury of doing podcasts in their underpants? A video means stress, make up, brand clothing (good way to bring in the dough though). I think the podcasts are as good as they are now because the guys can relax, drink and scratch whatever they want.
I dont think they need to do a long form video podcast. The long, rambling discussions are better suited for audio.
I guess that a five to ten minute companion video podcast would be great for segments that just absolutely demand a visual component.
