It was called Amalgam Comics.

Well the guys were talking about the Marvel/DC comic book crossover back in the day on the Tuesday Bombcast, and I guess nobody really remembered what the series was called or any of the super heroes.

I own every 'Amalgam' Comic as well as all the lead-up Versus issues and can honestly tell you that "Dark Claw" depressed me more than the death of Gaz.

I have one of the batman/wolverine comics, it`s pretty kick ass.

I thought they were called "Epic Failure".

It would have been cooler if they actually DID something with these characters instead of having a bunch of one shots

Now that would be a Civil War I could get behind.  Who else here would pay to see "Dark Claw" disembowel that Storm/Wonderwoman abomination.  I know I would!

I just think it's interesting how Jeff totally went something like "so it's like batman with adamatium claws" in the podcast... Why instantly think they would fuse batman with wolverine? Which is exactly what they did - Dark Claw, as mentioned.
