    Awesome package!

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is a glorious thing. Both games were fun on PS2, and these are their definitive versions. The music is done very well and the graphics are beautiful.

Final Fantasy X is my favorite game of all time. It has an amazing story, it's fun to play, and it has wonderful music. It's not perfect; it has a number of annoying side quests/mini games (Catcher Chocobo, anyone?), and the acting/writing is a little corny at times. It also takes a few hours to really get sucked into the game but that's typical of Final Fantasy. The few flaws don't take away from the greatness of the game. This JRPG fully immerses you into it's world of beautiful places and characters. SE did a wonderful job with the graphics and music. Having trophies to achieve is a bonus, plus the international version of the game makes this a complete and wonderful package. To be nit-picky, the controls are a little iffy at times (just like in the original version), but that's only a minor complaint because it doesn't affect the game.

Final Fantasy X-2 is a fun game by itself. I almost wish they left the FFX story as it was, I feel the ending of FFX is perfect. But FFX-2 is fun to play anyway. The story isn't as deep and it doesn't take as long to beat, but it has it's own unique components that make it fun. The battling system is a blast and it's great to spend more time in the world of Spira, spending time with all of the characters again. Way back on the PS2, I was disappointed by this game, not being happy with the story since I felt FFX was so perfect. But playing it now while knowing what to expect is a different experience. It's fun and charming. It also has the corny acting/writing that FFX has, but it doesn't take away from the game. Multiple endings are a bonus; it has replay value, especially with the New Game+ option that lets you start with everything you had in your first play-through. I am grateful they included X-2 in the remaster.

I very much recommend Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster to anyone and everyone. It's not perfect but it's rewarding and fun to play. If you played the games and enjoyed them on the PS2, you'll enjoy them all over again. If you're new to the games, now is the time to jump in.

Two great games, one half-cocked update 0

Let's get the truth bombs dropped right out of the gate - if you have easy access to the IA edition of Final Fantasy X, there's little point in buying this updated version of the game. The only updates you'll find here are some nicer facial animations and a few updated songs throughout the game. That's really about it. X-2 suffers from even less updatery - none, actually. These are still very much the games you got to play across the pond, with nothing here to justify the added cost. That sai...
