Shacknews had an article saying the demo was out today, not sure can I be bothered downloading it. As good looking as the game is, I can't really be bothered trying it out. Not when Medieval Total War 2 was a bit of a buggy mess coupled with the fact I'm not that big on RTS games or that series of RTS games in particular.

Hamz, you might be interested to know that Med 2 was developed by CA Australia, Empire is done by CA UK that done Rome TW. Suppose it doesn't matter though if you're not all that in to RTS or the series

I'm downloading as I type aswell, I can't wait to play the demo. I'm going to buy the game at launch but going to wait to play it on a new big fat gaming machine. I want to be able to somewhat max out the settings and have a nice framerate.

Finally done downloading, played the first tutorial without messing with any options. The controls will take a little for me to get used to, they've opted for World in Conflict style WASD for the camera, which I haven't played for some time. I'm off to play the rest now and crank up the settings until my PC begs for mercy.

Pathfinding is a bit buggy, easily overcome by microing.
    Otherwise, it's brilliant.

Saying that M2 was a bit buggy is like saying Hitler was a bit loony.
