According to a now-removed Forbes article, the oft-rumored Switch port of Diablo 3 is real, comes with both expansions, and includes Nintendo-exclusive items.

Are you Diablo fans out there going to take the plunge or has the game passed its heyday?

I've never even touched a Diablo game before, so I'm curious but can't say excited just yet. Part of the reasoning for this thread is for me to see what people's impressions are after all the hype, disappointment and renewed hype has faded into the past.

I burned out on D3 long ago.

This is awesome. Diablo 3 is a good "one of those". I hope the nintendo exclusives are cool and the game does well.

I’m pretty happy about this. I wanted a loot game, and was thinking about Titan Quest, but the review made me weary. Helps that I have been wanting to dive back in to Diablo 3 too.

As someone who missed Diablo 3, I will definitely pick this up as my go to mindless couch game.

Oh man... I will definitely pick this up again on Switch. The PS4 version was so good and it's been a WHILE since I've played it again.

On board 100%. Their post-launch support has been fantastic and I don't know of any other game at this point that I'd rather see on Switch.

Perfect. Been hoping this was real for a while and I’m hyped. Diablo 3 is some top tier good mindless fun and a portable version sounds delightful.

That's cool and I'm sure the portability of it is a great plus for a lot of people. I'm a little too burned out on D3 after I played 12 seasons, the expansion period prior to the start of seasons, and the period of vanilla that I played. I'll check out Diablo again after a new game is announced or if they announce another class DLC I'm interested in.

Absolutely jumping on this. I played a bit on 360, but that was right before I got my PC. Then I found out (too late) that controller support is a not-thing in the PC version, so I haven't touched it since. Very much looking forward to getting the full package with my preferred control type on the system I play as much as my PC.

I haven't touched D3 in a good while, but if I had a Sweetch, I'd be ALL about this. Portable Diablo 3... what's not to like?

The Switch seems like a great place to play some Diablo 3. It's just kind of unfortunate that I don't want to play anymore Diablo 3.

I am really not prepared to lose the hundreds of hours of my life to this version of this game.

This could consume a 100+ hours of my life quite easily. Oh no.

There were some unique lvls in that GR in the video that aren't in the console or pc versions. Even a fight through Act 1 town, lol. And we wonder why no new patches in the last 6 months...someone has been working hard to get this version running well on the Switch. This'll be a version I'll pass on though. If you love the Switch, you just got a very good and deep arpg to add to your library.
