Any users here wanna get back into Diablo II and start from the very start on normal and move on up?

I'd be willing to go back on Battle.net to play and prefer not to have the scamming talking in the channel the whole time.

What realm are you on?
I just started one new character last week on USEast.
I haven't been playing D2 in a long time. I used to play on a private server all the time for about 2 years.

ThatFrood and I were hoping to gather a group to go through the game. Diablo 2 is a game I have never gotten a chance to sit down and play. Now is the time to change that. It isn't like we're starting tonight or anything. Just trying to get a dedicated group going.

I might be up for some D2. I'd need to dig up my old Battle Chest, it's probably under a pile of old manuals somewhere.

I never really played on Battle.net outside of Starcraft, so I don't really know how this would work, but I'd totally give it a shot.

I would definitely be down for that @EpicSteve PM me with the details, I assume we would all make 1 character that we never play outside of with this little group? it sounds like alot of fun to me.... i have played diablo 2 on and off since it came out but it has been a long time since i have actually played through the story beats lol

You can get the game client straight from Blizzard at battle.net. It works out real well, and gets you past having to use the disk for the game. Infinite win in my book. If you go to battle.net and make an account (if you don't have one) it should show up at the top as something you can buy. Download the client, install the game, and put in the key they give you. Super easy and nice and convenient.

I just started playing this again with my girlfriend. I'm totally pumped for D3 and my standards are super low too. I just want more awesome diablo action. Done.

Diablo 2 doesn't have in game chat =P
I think it's from before the time in game chat became standard in pc games.

Also i realized i might be able to get my xbox headset connected, I just have to find a wired 360 controller....
