I thought the game was great

I don't  mind the linear nature of the game because the rest of the surrounding gameplay was fun. I loved the attacks I could do with the arm and I actually thought the weapons were great. Since I was limited to ammo it made me focus on using the weapons conservatively and not wasting my ammo. It kind of motivated me to use the weapons to their fullest and finish the rest with my arm if I was in close range or pistol if I was in medium range(or if their was very few enemies to take out). The constant danger of falling were pretty welcoming and though the game was linear it offered some pretty good backstory as to why it was limited. The offset of this were the great visuals. It seems a bit plain most of the time but the  artstyle of the city and huge environments and great visual effects really bring it to life. I think the limits of the city also make it more accesible to beginer players because without it the tough gameplay makes it hard for people who want to play it because of the old-school hardness they remember(sadly I have not played the first game or the remake...but i hear their great). I hope for the sequel(the game makes it obvious they want to continue the game) they make it a bit more open or fully open like assasins creed(which is one of my favourite games). Hopefully the engine will be able to handle it by then as well as decrease load times(which sucked for me during the first couple of hours cause I sucked at the game). Sound-wise the games guns don't sound hard or anything but they really sound organic enough and not like someone just pumped up the volume really high like most games do. The music is amazing. I have never heard anything like this before and it really makes me wish more games had great music like it. I haven't got a chance to tryr multiplayer yet but I still love the game enough to give it a 9.0. Great job to the developers who made this.

Every few months a game comes along that I absolutely want to love, but for some reason or another just can't. These are usually games that have fundamental mechanics that are both novel and fun, but make poor decisions when it comes to simple design choices. I really hate it when this happens. It means there is something about the experience that is resonating with me. Something that is drawing me back time and time again and therefore I must like the game. However, those feelings of elatio...

It’s been a long time coming, Spencer. Was it worth the wait? 0

The original console version of Bionic Commando, released on the NES in 1988, presented a completely new way to play the classic side-scrolling action game; replacing the jump button with a unique bionic arm. Rather than leap across hazardous gaps and pitfalls, players were required to use the arm to swing and climb through the levels, as it was implemented in many different ways to tackle certain situations, enemies and boss fights. It may have taken some getting used to, but once players becam...
