Just jumped back on BF1 for the first time in awhile and I notice there's now "specializations." At least in the new DLC.

Can anyone explain how I unlock new specializations? This seems like something that should be obvious but I don't see any descriptions on the spawn menu explaining how I earn what - IE: Like how many kills I need with X weapon. Or how many heals I must perform.

What am I missing? Thanks all!

You unlock them by finishing the class challenges (I forget the exact language) but you are given 5 tasks and when you finish them you unlock a second challenge and when you finish that and you get a perk. You start with 3 and they are alwaya automatically on and frankly they are the best ones in the game in my opinion haha.

Important note: unlike medals you dont need to tag them or do them in order. If you meet any critea for them it will be completed.

@hoossy: You're welcome. I also just remembered a protip. You can tag one Service Assignment and see it on the pause menu but you cant change it in game. However if you go to customise your kit then go to perks you can see the ones you havent unlocked and mousing over them shows the critea. A bit clunky but its better than quitting out.
