Over on Kotaku, I saw a link this morning to a video (courtesy of Hungary's GameStar) of the whole intro sequence, start to finish, from Killzone 2. The game isn't out for more than a month--so if you absolutely can't wait till then, give this a gander and see what you think.
I'd offer some thoughts, but I'm not going to watch the video. For one thing, I heard something about them inaugurating a new president? I'm following up to find out what that's all about. But also, I think Killzone 2 looks positively badass, and I'd like to experience it the first time around on a big honking television with booming speakers.
The description for the video contains this note: "The beginning portion (before the black text screen) is the CG intro video, and afterward is the real time cut-scene you see before landing on Helghan/starting the first mission." Do you think what you can see of the game in this video lives up to the years-long hype?
