A truly special video game.

Online play for Smash Brawl in Japan was so busted and weird. It would take, like, 20-30 minutes on a Friday/Saturday night to maybe even get in a game and even if you did manage to get matched up with anyone, no one would fight and it would be like they were, I dunno, role-playing the characters. So I would try to start fighting but then everyone would immediately gang up and destroy me and after my stocks were gone they would revert back to not fighting until time ran out. Then when time ran out and go into sudden death they would all race to the pit to see who would die the fastest.

It was bizzare as hell and I never touched online after like, a couple sessions of that.

An hour and 27 minutes in, I was reduced to tears. Jesus Christ this game is gloriously shitty.

The N64 library isn't even close to the SNES one, that's just not really a postion that can be rationally defended really.

In general, if Dan asks "is _____ actually illegal" there are categories of "criminal mischief" laws that could be applied in some way to the crazy scenarios he comes up with.

I really hate that Dan is really good at this game
