The Aperture Sight is an unlockable attachment for weapons in World at War. The Aperture Sight is a small glass sight that is mounted to your gun and replaces the iron sight. The Aperture has a small black dot in the center, which is what you use to aim.
The Aperture Sight can be unlocked for all SMGs, and all Rifles (excluding the M1 Garand) in World at War. You get the Aperture for completing Marksman Challenge II for each individual weapon. This basically requires you to get 75 kills with the weapon you want an Aperture for.
Trivia
- The Aperture Sight did not exist in WWII.
- The Aperture Sight is the WaW equivalent to the Red Dot Sight in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
