You might also know of Escape from Tarkov as the game whose dev wouldn't allow players to be women because the lore didn't support it.

I'm with Bailey on Choice of Games games. Some of them are really fantastic. Alternately, some of them are really bad, but the non-licensed games are only, like, $4, so you're never really too mad as long as you enjoy the subject matter. Their Hosted Game series is a lot more hit and miss, but there are a couple in there that are really good.
